How can residents be warned in good time about rising water levels? Murr now has a smart solution: an automatic water level monitoring system ensures greater safety.
Application
With the permission of the town of Murr, a monitoring system was installed on a bridge. It consists of a DATAEAGLE 7000 radio system and an ultrasonic sensor that continuously measures the distance to the water surface.
Challenges
Rising water levels can quickly become dangerous. Early warning is crucial in order to be able to react in time – both for residents and emergency services.
Solution
The DATAEAGLE 7000 radio system transmits the measured values to an online portal and automatically sends a tweet via @BrueckeMurr when changes occur. This means that residents receive an immediate warning when the water level rises.

Result
